Day One- Alice Springs - Ayers Rock
Follow the West MacDonnell Ranges to join the Mereenie Loop Road (conditions permitting). Travel through beautiful desert landscapes and enjoy breakfast in a bushland setting. Enter the Watarrka National Park and continue to Kings Canyon. The walk to the canyon rim is guided and will bring marvellous views. Alternatively, you can explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor for an easier, shady walk. There is time to purchase lunch at Kings Canyon Resort (own expense) before travelling to Ayers Rock Resort.

Day Two- Ayers Rock - Alice Springs
An optional tour to view sunrise on Uluru (Ayers Rock) is available (no extra charge). 6.45 am start for those wishing to climb Uluru Tour the monolith's base. Time is also available to visit the Ularu-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Afternoon transfer to Ayers Rock Airport for your flight. Flights must be booked to depart after 1.30 pm
