The Outback Travel Shop has been successful and well received by customers from day one onwards.

The company was established in Alice Springs in March 1997 by Irma Versluijs, a Dutch backpacker exploring the world. She noticed the value of Tourism in Australia and decided to start the Outback Travel Shop, to be able to show beautiful Australia to the world and create a successful travel shop. Over time, Irma has continued with her determination to inform people of Australia and successfully meet their travel needs with the assistance of a strong team of Travel Managers and administrational staff.
